Story so Far

The shop opened in September 2017 and is equipped to handle up to three barbers.  We welcome inquiries about possible employment from licensed barbers.  Internship inquiries for new barbers are also a welcome.  For more information either email or call the shop.

Dan Woycik is the owner and manager.  His partner Blaise provides technical and other support.  Also on the team is barber Nolan available Wednesday and Thursdays and Rachel available Sundays.

First Friday.
First Friday is a monthly occurrence and as the name suggests, happens on the first Friday of the month.  It is coordinated by the Upstate Artists Guild Businesses and churches in the area provide space for local artists to display their art and have a free open house during First Friday - some with live entertainment.   The shop participates in this community event - the art in the shop changes monthly.  If interested in exhibiting your art for a month and participating in a First Friday event contact Dan.  For more information on First Friday click here.

Why Center Square?
The shop is located in a typical brownstone on Lark Street.  The area has a lot of history and architecture.  It lies between beautiful Washington Park and the State Capital buildings.  The area was once known as Center Square - check here for more info.  Currently it is a very active art scene with restaurants, bars, boutiques, and more.  Through out the year there are many events in the area such as Larkfest, Tulip Fest, and First Friday.
